In this study we asked why John cried when he saw that no one could open the scroll with the seven seals? It seemed as if no one was in charge. In other words, no one seemed to be in control. This was bad news for God’s people, who seemed to be under Satan’s control. Yet, the good news was that Satan could not open the scroll, either. Instead, Jesus, the Lamb and the Lion, was the only one who could open the scroll. This is why we can sleep well at night. Jesus is the One who is in control. As Christians, we have a Savior who died for us. He made us kings and priests in his kingdom. He rules all things for our good. He will fulfill his covenant to us and keep us safe until he returns.
